WHY HOPE INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL
A Few Days of Care Were Never Going to Be Enough.
For more than 13 years, Asking for the Nations has partnered with Giving Hope for Tomorrow to provide free medical clinics in Tanzania. Year after year, we have watched doctors, nurses and volunteers care for hundreds of patients who might otherwise go without treatment.
We have seen lives changed and lives saved. But we also recognized something important: a few days of medical care each year could never meet the ongoing needs of an entire community.
The vision became bigger than a clinic. We began building a permanent place of hope.
THE REALITY
Healthcare Should Be Within Reach.
For many families in Tanzania, receiving medical care can depend on whether they have the money available to pay for treatment. When resources are limited, families may delay seeking care until a medical problem becomes much more serious.
Hope International Hospital was born from a desire to help change that reality in our community.
Our vision is to create a place where quality medical care, compassion and dignity come together, serving families who need both treatment and hope.
Accessible care can change the future of an entire family.

What once existed only as a vision is now taking shape in our community. Years of prayer, generosity, construction and partnership have brought Hope International Hospital this far.
Room to Grow.
Additional property has been acquired to make room for the expanding hospital vision.

The two-story main health centre is taking shape and represents years of faithful investment in this vision.

Construction, furnishings, medical equipment and future expansion remain ahead as we prepare for patient care.
A STORY OF GOD'S PROVISION
God Sees What We Cannot See.
Before we knew what would be required next, an opportunity came to purchase additional property beside the hospital. We moved forward.
Later, Ministry of Health officials informed us that Labor & Delivery and Radiology, originally planned within the main health centre, would require separate buildings. The land we had already acquired created the space needed for the hospital to expand, and plans for both buildings have now been approved.
What looked like preparation for the future became provision for something we didn't yet know we would need.

500+ Patients Served in Two DaysDuring our 2026 free medical clinic, more than 500 patients received care in just two days.
Every number represents a person, a family and a story. These clinics continually remind us why a permanent place of care matters.
We are not simply constructing a building. We are preparing a place that can serve this community long after a short-term medical team has gone home.
