Meet our team!
Jennifer Crawford
Jade Crawford
Our Full-Time Missionaries in Tanzania:
We're so thankful for our incredible mother-daughter duo, Jennifer and Jade Crawford, who now live full-time in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. Jennifer, co-founder of Asking for the Nations (AFTN), serves as the Director of New Beginning Pre and Primary School, while her daughter Jade teaches art at the school.
Beyond their daily roles, Jennifer and Jade are devoted to serving the local community in powerful ways. They are the hands and feet of our mission! Whether they are serving meals to those in need, coordinating visiting volunteer teams, or simply showing love to their neighbors, their commitment makes a lasting impact.
We are so grateful for all that they’re doing to bring hope, love, and transformation to Tanzania!

Partners in Tanzania:
The Mramba Family
More than ten years ago, we had the honor of meeting the Mramba family—and since then, they’ve become far more than partners; they are truly family. From the very beginning, they have walked alongside us as we’ve grown Asking for the Nations in Tanzania, helping us navigate everything from ministry connections to community needs.
Mr. and Mrs. Mramba serve as pastors of the local church we attend and are key leaders in many of our decisions—whether it’s hiring at our schools, expanding outreach to nearby churches, or identifying families and communities who need encouragement and support. Their deep relationships across the region and their wisdom have helped guide so much of the work we do.
Their daughter, Ndaga, serves as the manager of New Beginning Pre and Primary School, playing a vital role in school leadership and community outreach. She also supports us in the field by translating, coordinating local efforts, and serving with a joyful heart wherever needed.
The youngest three—Heaven, Benny, and Glory—are involved as volunteers, faithfully helping in both the church and at New Beginning whenever they’re home from school. Whether they’re organizing supplies, jumping in with students, or assisting with team projects, their servant hearts reflect the spirit of this incredible family.
Without the Mramba family, we truly could not do what we do in Tanzania. Their support, insight, and partnership have been foundational—and we’re beyond thankful to walk side by side with them to impact lives across this beautiful nation.
