Trip funds are not due in full until one month prior to departure. Participants can receive a public fundraising page to help raise support for their trip.

Short-Term Education Volunteers
As New Beginning continues to grow, we're looking for experienced educators and skilled volunteers who can spend 2 weeks to 3 months in Tanzania serving alongside our teachers and school leadership.
Short-term volunteers can bring focused knowledge and practical support in areas where we want to continue raising the standard of education for our students.
Reading & Literacy
Reading instruction, phonics, comprehension, intervention, and support for developing readers.
Library Development
Help develop our library, establish effective systems, and build a strong culture of reading.
Computers & Technology
Build foundational computer skills and help students and teachers use technology effectively.
Mathematics
Strengthen foundational skills, instructional methods, problem solving, and student understanding.
Science
Support hands-on science, practical learning, core concepts, and teacher development.
CURRENT PRIORITY OPPORTUNITY
Academic Advisor
We are actively seeking a qualified and experienced educator or educational leader to serve as an Academic Advisor with New Beginning School in Tanzania.
As our school continues to grow and we expand into secondary education, this person will work alongside school leadership to help us continue building and maintaining a high standard of academics.
The Academic Advisor may assist with academic planning, curriculum implementation, teacher development and mentoring, classroom observation, assessment and student performance, instructional practices, and overall academic quality.
This is not a general volunteer position. Applicants must have appropriate professional qualifications and demonstrated experience in education. Experience in school leadership, academic administration, curriculum development, instructional coaching, teacher training, or educational management is strongly preferred.
