Hope Int’l: God sees what we cannot see.

We know that the plans we make are small in comparison to what God has planned, and truly, we’ve witnessed this firsthand. Our heart and vision for Hope International Hospital has only continued to grow and expand as time goes on.

That being said, we would like to share our next steps for Hope International Hospital.

Recently, we shared with you that we purchased the one-acre property adjacent to our land, unknowingly preparing ourselves for what was to come. In a recent meeting with officers from the Ministry of Health, new requirements for Hope International Hospital were shared with us. As a result, two additional building plans have now been drafted and officially approved.

These two buildings will house a Labor and Delivery Ward, as well as a Radiology Center. These facilities were originally expected to be included within our 11,000-square-foot hospital building, but we were informed that additional space would be needed to meet the required standards.

What an incredible reminder that God sees what we cannot see.

When we purchased the additional land, we knew it would be important for the future of the hospital, but we did not yet know how quickly it would become necessary. What felt like preparing for “someday” has now become part of the immediate vision.

The Labor and Delivery ward is truly an answer to prayer. We have seen the major need in our community for proper medical care for mothers and their babies. Our goal is to see healthy families, new life brought into the earth, and a fresh joy to spring up in what was once a dry land.

While this update expands our vision, it also expands our construction budget, staffing needs, and equipment needs. Yet we stand strong in our belief that where God leads, He provides.

What may seem like an inconvenience or unexpected obstacle can sometimes be the very thing God uses to take a vision further than we originally imagined. These unforeseen requirements will ultimately allow Hope International Hospital to operate at a greater level of excellence and provide even more comprehensive care to the people of this community.

Our vision has never simply been to construct a building. Our vision is to create a place where people can receive quality, compassionate, and accessible healthcare, a place where mothers can safely deliver their babies, families can receive answers through proper diagnostic services, and people can experience the love of Christ through the care they receive.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued prayers, encouragement, generosity, and partnership. None of this would be possible without those who have chosen to walk alongside us. There is still much ahead, more construction, more equipment, more staff, and more resources, but we are excited about what God is building.

This vision is becoming bigger than we originally imagined, and perhaps that is exactly the point. We are not simply building a hospital. We are building a place of hope, healing, and lasting impact for generations to come.
